Delivery exception how can I fix this?

I was tracking my package through fedex cause I bought my friend a gift but I forgot to put in the appartment number thus the Delivery exception that popped up and I don't know how to fix it can anyone help.

It said Delivery exception then under details said Incorrect address - Apartment/Suite number

Call 800 GOFEDEX with the tracking number and give them the correct address. The will make the correction and attempt a redelivery.

did you give them your friend's phone number? they should be able to give the extra service of calling your friend if they think that the address is incomplete.

talk to their customer care reps and ask for their assistance. your package could still be at destination, awaiting your instructions as the shipper.

mostly they many not be in a position to help.

the package will be returned to you shortly and you may have reship with correct address paying additional cost.
