They will deliver it on Monday. The phase "Package not due for delivery" indicates they have it locally but will not delivery it today because it is the weekend or a holiday.

It means it has either not entered their system yet (it hasn't been shipped) or it may mean that it hasn't arrived at your local FedEx distribution point yet. I would call the shipper and verify that you have the correct tracking information and that the package is indeed in transit. If it is in transit and the tracking info is correct, then call FedEx and ask what's up. It may have been damaged or lost in their system--unlikely, but possible. It may just mean it isn't loaded on the truck for delivery at this time. I am a manager of logistics and operations for UPS and our software and procedures are very similar to FedEx's. I think our tracking system is more explicit and user-friendly though. Good Luck!

To clarify, FedEx NEVER delivers earlier than scheduled. If you paid for 2-day shipping, the package will be delivered in 2 business days, regardless of whether it actually arrives at the local warehouse in plenty of time to be delivered a day early. This is true whether it s a weekend or weekday.

Sometimes (and this cracks me up, in an angry way), a package arrives at our local FedEx depot over a day early. It ll be placed in queue to be loaded on a truck, and marked as "On truck for delivery" (even though it s not really). And then it ll just rot in that queue for a whole extra day... EVEN THOUGH FedEx IS COMING TO DELIVER AT MY HOUSE THAT VERY SAME DAY ANYWAYS!!! It s a huge waste of time and money for both FedEx and myself. They could ve come to my house just once for both deliveries, but because of this ridiculous policy, they have to drive here twice in two days.

Not always. I was posted for 2 day shipping. It was told to me today, Tuesday (2 work days later) that it " wasnt due for delivery". That is bullshit! >.> Still says its going to be here Tuesday by 8pm... Here it is Wednesday 1am, not changes... they were too busy stuffing their fat ******* faces to get up at ALL today I'm sure.

It means that you did not pay extra for Saturday delivery, so two day delivery will be on Monday. It's already loaded on the truck and ready to go out then.
