Change UPS delivery location?

Question

I bought a Christmas gift on ebay and paid using paypal. After work I got home and recieved the reciept and noticed it was going to my college address in Connecticut but I live in Ohio now. I tried going to the UPS website where it said the address can be changed in transit by choosing the option in package progress. But when I go to package progress that option is not there, Do you know if only the sender can change this or what. ANY Help Appreciated..

If I was you I would call UPS up on the phone and talk with the manager to ask him about this. If there website said that it can be changed in transit, you don't see it there that is like false advertising but, make sure you have read their policies but, I would definitely call the number on the website and talk to the manager of the company and found out about the option that you're trying to access.

Yes, It may be too late to change it due to the barcode being already placed on the package. If it's a small package and you completed a forwarding address, it may work if they leave the package there but then again UPS nad USPS is two different entities. I would call UPS right away...or as soon as dayligh breaks. Visit the website of WWW.UPS.COM and trace it then call them. Call and I am 100% you'll get an answer when the cust svc # is open. Good luck and take care. You may have to pay a difference.
