I'm white, the race thing could be weird. When the managers were discussing me, before hiring me, they were talking in Spanish and I was like fml. But there were a few other white people there so whatever. Anyway, that's a digression.
I was told what time to show up tomorrow, and in my excitement I said thanks, shook hands, and left. Not bothering to ask what I should wear.
I've been there enough, I know they tend to wear all black. The shirt I assume they'll provide, since I certainly don't have any "I made the salsa today" shirts lying around. But my only black shoes are, like, expensive dress shoes, definitely overdressing. My only black pants are in the same boat, they're what I wore to my high school graduation.
I figured I'd just throw on khakis, a polo, and tennis shoes. Is that okay? Are the shoes going to be a problem? I assume they won't come down too hard on me, but I really like to be prepared for situations like this. I'm subconsciously obsessed with first impressions when it's something I consider important.
Thanks.
Let's see, final thoughts. All the basic stuff. Yes, I want to work here, I don't care if you like the place or not. I would prefer answers from people who actually have some experience working there. Trolls are welcome, but only if what you say is funny; flamers are just wastes of everyone's time. Thanks again.
Oh also I need this by noon tomorrow so answer quickly peeps =)
