I bought a pair of earphones at my local Wal-Mart for $20. I'm browsing on walmart.com, the same earphones are $13? Can I complain about this and get the difference back? Or would I only get reimbursed if another chain's store had a lower price?

Never hurts to ask....be sure and take proof.

I don't think that Wal-Mart has any qualms about what they sell anymore and I know that many of the stores already sell gasoline. The gas is provided by a supplier named Murphy where I live but I've noticed that Wal-Mart gas stations are cheaper than if you buy fuel at some place like Shell, Exxon or Chevron. Whether their gasoline is same quality as other places, I don't know. Wal-Mart has always claimed to be a 'family-oriented' business and I know that they don't sell CD's that are labeled "explicit content." So, I don't think hookers will be Wal-Marts next thing to add. But I also remember that Wal-Mart used to advertise that they bought mostly American made products. But right now, Wal-Mart buys from the cheapest source possible and they've had to abandon that 'made in the USA' philosophy they used to advertise to the public. Many Wal-Mart Super Centers already seem to have hair and nail salons, banks, delicatessens, pharmacies, automotive repair, portrait and vision services. Many Wal-Marts have floral and garden centers in them, as well as, fast ffod joints McDonalds. I'm thinking that maybe discount weddings or funeral services might be the next 'gimmick' that is added to your local Wal-Mart.

It's the prices of regions. The online store sells at prices of that region. When you go to your Walmart you pay that region prices. If a store in New York pays employees more than the one in Alabama, it like that. Complain at customer returns troll.

Well, it doesn't really surprise me that is was cheaper online, but I suppose you didn't get a good deal.
Go to Wal-Mart's customer service area, and tell them.
Even if they don't give you the difference, what's the worst that could happen?

a trick peopl use is they might set a low price online so you think your getting a good deal like 5$ or something and then they might charge you 10$ shipping and handeling when it only cost them 2$ to shitp it so they end up gettting more and you pay more.

difference is $7. is shipping included? do you have to drive to walmart and back to get refund and you will also have to wait a couple of days to get your earphones. have to figure out if it is worth it. also maybe there will be a line at walmart.

Yes, call them. But I think there's a reason things are listed at a cheaper price online. They can explain it to you.

I say complain. they may reimburse you but they don't advertise it. so no promises but it is worth a try.
