Question:
Is Simple Logistics a legitimate package forwarding company or a scam?

I put in some applications online and I got a hit from a staffing agency that was hiring for a company called Simple Logistics LLC. I Looked up the staffing agency and they look legitimate as I have seen reviews but my main concern is the company itself. They contacted me to put in an application on their website. Before putting in the app I took a tour thru the website and it looked legitimate and so did the application. They did not ask for any confidential information. I also looked online to see if there were any scam reports but there were none. They also have a contact number and an address. The site also had a section where an employee can receive information on tasks, messages and their packages. After I
completed the application I was later sent an email telling me to complete and send in a w-4 form which I know is legitimate since I have filled out these forms more times that I wanted to.They have not asked me for any money, card or bank info nor any western union or money gram stuff, which scammers usually do. It seems too good to be true but sometimes good opportunities come along so I would like an educated answer (not an opinion) on whether or not this is a legitimate company.

I also got an offer using that name and was suspicious as we never even had a phone or Skype interview, they interviewed by email and IM, so I called the real company in Illinois on the number in the Manta directory http://www.manta.com/c/mbynlff/simple-logistics and they said they did not offer me a job and do not offer any work at home package forwarding jobs or any other work from home jobs. Their only business is transporting frozen baked goods from their warehouses and manufacturing plants to grocery stores, restaurants and food service facilities across the Midwest. They do not do any sort of shipping that could be done from home. All shipping is done in their refrigerator trucks and they only hire licensed and experienced truck drivers and always interview candidates in person at their office and run a full background check

Their parent company is here http://www.burryfoods.com/contact-us/ who I also called and they also confirmed they dont have work from home jobs and never offer a job to anyone they have never interviewed in person at their office

There are no companies that ask people to forward packages from home. Package forwarding is always done at a warehouse or legitimate company like FedEx or Mail Boxes Etc. It is not done from home. And nobody is hired to forward packages without a full background check and getting bonded to make sure you don't have a criminal record and your fingerprints go on file in case you try to steal.

While I didn't run into any LLC filing information it seems to have too many internet references to be a fabrication.

From a B to B directory

It didn't pop put in the cluttered Google street view of that address. Might be in an office complex.

Work at home package forwarding "jobs" are always scams.

The items are purchased with stolen credit card numbers. When the scam unravels in a few days/weeks, the authorities only have one address to go to; YOURS!

Someone posted here in the past that someone they know fell for this scam and ended up in prison. They stated that the judge said that he couldn't believe that anyone could not know that they were receiving stolen merchandise.

They did get your social security number, good luck spending the next 10 years cleaning up that mess. Your identity is being stolen as I type.

WORK FROM HOME JOBS ARE NOT LEGIT, UNLESS YOU HAVE A SPECIFIC SKILL SET. YOU DO NOT.

Go drive for UBER or Lyft or a Pizza delivery company. NOBODY IS GOING TO SAVE YOU.

I were hired by the company one year ago. I am getting my payment in time each month.
