why do people buy Apple products when they are much worse performance then other computers/cellphones/etc, And they cost even more then the products that perform much better!? It's just stupid, please explain to me...

It is a brand that has caught the public creativeness. You can buy trainers simply as excellent as Nike for a quarter of the cost, but people are ready to pay a top rate for the "real thing". I've a Palm Treo that does the whole lot i would like that an iPhone will do. I've a low-cost Android tablet that does something I could need to do on an iPad. I've an particularly inexpensive mp3 participant which is much better at downloading and playing song than an iPod. And i've a pc that is more powerful and 1 / 4 of the cost of an iMac. However they are not cool.

Apple mp3 players are the best, no contest.
Phones? Well, both Apple and Android have good phones, I admit. But I'd choose Apple because it's more versatile.
The only time PC beats Apple is with the Xbox 360 and Microsoft Office.

obviously you've never owned an apple product. i've owned only one myself. an iPad 2. great tablet. performs better than anything else out there. does cost more, but it's my money and i'll spend it any fcuking way i want. having said all that, i found the samsung galaxy note works just as well for what i want and it makes phone calls. it has now replaced my ipad. until my samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 shows up on my doorstep.

Some people honestly find them more useful than other phones for their situation; for example my mother has an iPhone for work which functions as a mini-computer for scheduling, meeting planning etc.
Some people buy it to show off that they have one, to make themselves seem elite, up to date and trendy. Some people...well, they just like Apple!

Some people are tools. Pure and simple. Same reason all iphone cases have a hole in the back so everyone can still see the apple logo on the back.
