Ok so when do you get to use your employee discount at ANF? Can you just shop on your day off and give the cashier your associate card or what? I just need a little clarification on it. I know it is ok with some managers if you shop while you work as long as it is really slow so i guess that means you are supposed to shop when you aren't working right?

You can use your discount whenever you want, as long as you have your card with you and it's at your "home" store. At my store, the managers like to ring people up after their shift is over, or of course when they're just in the mall shopping for other things. When I'm maintaining an area, I usually figure out what I want, and if there's only one of my size, I'll stick it in the back to hold it until my shift is over and I can buy it.

I wouldn't really shop while you're working unless you ask a manager. I've asked to try on jeans at the end of the night before, and that's been okay, but since I asked they knew what was going on, you know?

Hope that helpedd :]

I work at A&F, and I usually shop for clothes on my 10 minute break, or after my shift is over. While folding clothes on the floor, I usually get a pretty good idea of what I want to buy, so I can just quickly pick those up after I clock out for my break and bring them to the manager to ring up.

I don't know because I don't work there but if i were you i would wait until you have the day off or when your shift is over. Some managers think it's ok but others might think otherwise. I don't think you should push your luck!
