Question:
eBay seller asking me to confirm my address, can I just ask for a refund?

I ve recently bought a few things off eBay for my Halloween costume. A seller messaged me about one item I purchased, said that it has been "returned to him for unknown reasons" and wants me to confirm my address. The shipping address I put was correct, and the other two items seem to have shipped just fine. I don t exactly feel comfortable replying back with my address again, and this is an item that was only around $6. Could I just reply asking for a refund? Or is there a different way to go about getting a refund? Or am I just being too paranoid? (I m new to eBay and just being extra cautious)

I assume so.

it is not unknown for the postal service to return something that was correctly addressed, this may be something entirely unusual and confirming your address is certainly not something to be so paranoid about

Is there any downside to saying "the address you have, xxxxx, is correct?

I wouldn't be worried...but I would probably request a refund at this point.

Go to your ebay account and request a refund. The seller may have written down the wrong address but ebay sends the seller all that information so they should not be asking you. Always check feedback before you buy and read the negative feedback as some are reasonable and some are not
