There's a minimum wage, how about a maximum wage?

Many corporations try to pay employees as little as possible, but is it really to save money for operating costs? Or perhaps it is to give the top dogs a bigger bonus?

So how about this, a MAXIMUM wage, including all the bonuses, stock options, etc? Maybe even a maximum severance package, so CEO's can't retire and take half of the corporation's money with them.

We can still set it high like a million or two, but really, isn't top management supposed to make that money so the corporation can grow and the stock holders can benefit, and not just to add to their Ferrari collection?

You should never limit your wage, the possibilities should be endless.

Everyone wants a 'maximum' wage until they are the ones affected by it. That said, CEO's should not be getting $50 million golden parachutes when they crash their companies into the ground.

I have no problem with someone like Bill Gates raking in the dollars after he built his company from scratch while creating millions of jobs( directly and indirectly), and provided the country with billions in tax revenue.
