make sure you have cancelled completely and even send them a letter too, with you're account information and all. Make sure any balance is paid off and you should be all set. I have heard though that some subscription companies (internet service providers, cable providers etc) will off you a month free when you say that you want to cancel but will then resume charging you after that month...I'd say do the aforementioned (cancel account in person & writing) contact customer service if they charge you the first month after you do so (demanding that they refund you) then, if necessary, contact an attorney or close the bank account that AOL has access to.

it seems to happen all the time with aol, as my customers tell me, but check your contract and make sure YOU have lived up to your end, too. good luck

yes they say do it for free like a Month but will not so get it canceled
