No i am not a great favor of this merger or a possible take over of yahoo by Microsoft..............

Because in software industry merger or accusion are always not a welcome but it is quality innovation that a company can do to survive in this highly competive & knowledge oriented Software industry.......

By the way MS thinks that after taking over yahoo will give it some leverage in th online business market but it a erroneous thougt as google is way ahead in the online ads& fast caching up in display ad business which was a major money earner for yahoo.........

By the meant time both the it giants discuss about a take over google in the meant time will take the benifit of nonengagement of 2 of its rival can significantly increase its market strength............

It is bettr for yahoo to work with google to capture the online ads & strengthen its hold in display ad business & MS must bring about a product innovation in the online market & try to square up its postion before it is lost to google...........

But actually its not a woory time for customers as even the buy out goes fine then because the combined force will stil hold 30% of net add business & not in a postion to haras customer & depress Google..............

Always rember my words that innovation Driver software industy not just buy out or mergers..............

It is the great ideas that make sense not just tasaction of bns of $s

I am so glad I joined yahoo answers. My brothers always tease me saying "Why do you spend so much time on there" or "You call this fun???" or "You don't even know those people, go on face book or something" Or something along those lines lol. But I tune them out because I have an endless amount of fun on here. Out of the choices you have, I think the ones that apply to me are : -"Yeah it's great fun" -"Yeah, I guess. I waste lots of time on here when I'm bored" (but not only when I'm bored) - "Sure, I've learned a lot of things I didn't know, and I've met some fantastic people." - (Yes! For example, Hi Arabesque!! :) Once I started adding contacts I had a whole new experience on Y!A. More fun and learning :) -"No, now all I do is eat, sleep, and Answer. Curse this addiction!!" I am very addicted, I'm cutting down, but don't worry, come summer I'll be on here all the time! :) But the addiction isn't necessarily a bad thing. What could be better than going on Y!A? I recommend it to everyone. How about you arabesque? Are you glad that you joined? ** haha, ck1 I loved your answer!

you are right. yahoo has become a world wide influence. microsoft cannot tolerate it, because it sees a threat to its fancied supremacy. a merger will mean more mind control, as information services do indeed influence world cybernetics
